Sunil Sethia deems himself to be one of the fortunate few in India to have acquired the opportunities that led him to where he is today.

Sunil knows that the credit for his success goes beyond his own skills or talents. He recognises the crucial roles played by a happy childhood, quality education, and a supportive ecosystem, to shape him into the individual he has grown to be over the years.

Yet, aren’t these all simply basic needs denied to lakhs of people in the same country and city in which he resides? These were the thoughts that turned into the seeds from which the non-profit, public charitable trust, ChennaiOne, came into being!

Since the inception of the organisation in 2015, Sunil has contributed significantly towards its multiple projects and partnerships.

Some of the key initiatives undertaken by ChennaiOne are:

• Disaster Relief
• Educational Assistance
• School Renovation & Enrichment
• Support for members of the Indian Army
• Partnership with women welfare organisations
• Participation in ‘Cauvery Calling’ project

In addition to continuing his work through ChennaiOne, Sunil also wishes to, someday, build a school of international standards and make it accessible to children from all socio-economic backgrounds.
